Ingrid Fjeldskaar Løtveit has a PhD in Hydrogeology from the University of Bergen, and her work includes analytical and numerical analysis of fluid reservoirs and fracture development in heterogeneous rocks. Løtveit's experience is within the field of fluid transport in rock fractures and fractured reservoirs, where the main focus is on the possible leakage of fluids through faults and fractures due to processes causing local stress changes in the crust. One of her current studies are considering the stress effects of the massive glacial erosion in the Barents Sea, and the possible leakage of hydrocarbons out of the reservoirs in this area. |
